XTERRA Kapalua Trail Runs
The off-road adventurous spirit of XTERRA reaches out to the community with XTERRA Kapalua Trail Runs as well as Kimo's XTERRA Keiki K (free for kids twelve and under).

This year, the race falls on Halloween, and we'll celebrate with a "spooky surprise" on the course Leilani's Halloween Costume Contest with special prizes for best costumes.
Duke's Beach House XTERRA 10K and Hula Grill XTERRA 5K races are open to one-and-all (the 5km is open for walkers too!). All 5K/10K competitors will experience the famed XTERRA World Championship run course. Paul Mitchell stylists will be there cutting hair in exchange for a donation to the Challenged Athlete Foundation.
Keiki K: Free fun run for kids 12 and under. 8-12 year olds will run a kilometer, with 6-7 year olds about half of that, and 5 and under 100 yards. Parents must register their children. All participants get awards and post-race refreshments. Sorry, no t-shirts for children.
10K - fastest male and female overall as well as fastest Maui resident male and female win $100 restaurant certificates from Dukes Maui. Note that if a Maui resident is also the overall winner, only one certificate is awarded.
The fastest Maui resident male runner will be awarded the Billy Connor Memorial Trophy, in honor of XTERRA's friend, medical volunteer, and long-time Maui resident runner "Waikoloa Billy", who passed away earlier this year. Top 3 in each division receive medals and prizes.

Keiki K - all runners receive a medal.
Costume Contest - $600 in restaurant gift certificates from Leilani's will be awarded to the best costumes in a number of categories.
$100 each to the best dressed in these six categories:
Preliminary judging will occur prior to the race. Racers who wish to be considered for a prize, should check in at the Costume Contest area near the start line.
Masks and eye/ear/nose/mouth coverings are prohibited. Athletes must be able to see, hear and breathe!
Costumes must allow freedom of movement of the feet and arms.
Race officials reserve the right to require participants to adjust/alter/remove costumes for safety purposes.
Note: You must be present to receive your award. Awards will not be mailed after the race. For safety, headphones are not allowed to be worn during the race.

T S Restaurants XTERRA Week Concert Series
T S Restaurants will host a Concert Series featuring legendary Hawaiian music during the week of the XTERRA events. The concert schedule is as follows:

Grammy award winner and slack key master, John Cruz, is known for his soulful vocals and unique acoustic style of music.
Friday, October 30th | Duke’s Beach House 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. | Raiatea Helm
Raiatea Helm is a renowned songbird, celebrated for her natural falsetto voice. Helm is a Grammy nominee and winner of the Native Arts & Cultura Foundations "fellowship in Music" award.
Sunday, November 1st | Hula Grill Kaanapali 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. | Walt Keale, Andrew & Jay Molina
Walt Keale, musical storyteller, is known for his original style. Keale’s music resonates the influence of Niihau, the bluegrass of the Dustbowl & the latino strings of jarocho, cumbia & ranchera. Father and son duo, ukuklele master Andrew Molina and electric bassist Jay Molina will open the show.
